As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17
The following men’s gatherings are designed to foster growth in relationship through study, practical application of the scriptures and prayer for one another. As Disciples of Christ we are called to lay down our lives, pick up our cross and follow Christ daily. The path of obedience leads through all aspects of our lives—family, church, our community and vocation. We pursue Christ while battling with indwelling sin, living in a fallen world and struggling against spiritual forces of evil. Therefore we fellowship together as men to encourage, exhort and support one another in this lifetime pursuit. Our men’s meeting is an opportunity build one another up through mutual edification and service (Ephesians 4:12-16).
Men’s Fellowship
Men’s Fellowship is on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. at the church. It is a time for the men of the church to meet for fellowship, a discussion of the past Sunday’s sermon, and a significant time of prayer in small groups. The goal of these small groups is to further develop relationships among the men, encourage accountability, and be more in tune with each others lives so that we better pray and serve each other in the Lord.
